Introduction

In my long career with the San Francisco Symphony I’ve been fortunate to play with some of the world’s most magnificent conductors and guest artists, in addition to my exceptionally talented colleagues in the Orchestra! I was hired by Maestro Herbert Blomstedt in 1994, who was followed by Music Directors Michael Tilson Thomas and Esa-Pekka Salonen. I consider the Orchestra to be my “musical home.”

Performances with the San Francisco Symphony include classical orchestral repertoire covering four centuries, collaborations with some of the most well-known popular and world musicians, as well as frequent chamber music opportunities on the SFS Davies Hall Series. Some of my favorites are featured in this section.

My interest in mindfulness and music was highlighted in the SFS Musician’s Profile Video Series.
